Auriga Industries A/S is the listed parent of Cheminova A/S, which is the wholly owned operating company domiciled in Denmark.
Cheminova is a global business developing, producing and marketing chemical crop protection products. All activities are carried out with due consideration for the environment and in compliance with ever higher sustainability standards.
We create value by offering solutions to farmers worldwide who need to protect their crops against infestation by insects, weeds and fungal diseases. Our products meet the needs of crop producers for increasing yields and the quality of their crops which are used, for example, for foods, animal feed and biofuels.
In a world where about one sixth of the population is starving, we are proud to be contributing towards the global food supply.
Cheminova posts revenue of more than DKK 5.7 billion a year and has just over 2,100 employees, of whom approx. 800 work in Denmark. The group has subsidiaries in 23 countries outside Denmark and sells its products in more than 100 countries worldwide. Exports account for 99% of sales.
It is the overall strategic objective of Auriga to ensure the long-term creation of value for the benefit of the company’s shareholders, employees and other stakeholders. It is the intention to further develop Cheminova with a view to remaining a competitive business generating attractive earnings.
